Message when I was rebuilding the cylinder head on my Honda, it took almost 3 weeks just to get the crank bolt off to get my crank pulley off.

I tried every trick in the book to get that damn thing off. I even bought a compressor and an IR 1000ft/lb impact gun which did not help (according to aliaZ my compressor hose was probably not wide enough). I ended up having to wait couple of weeks for the tool which would hold the crank pulley from turning and use an 8 feet pipe on my breaker bar to break the bolt loose. God knows who was the previous mechanic who torqued that bastard on.

I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!" (Having a conversation about hail damage) - BradZ (FL) on March 25, 2005 at 9:56 PM

Tell your friend that you could take a dump, light it on fire and that would be hotter shit than his car. Probes suck, that's just all there is to it. - 300ZXpert (someday) on April 04, 2005 at 11:35 PM
